Born in Miami, Florida, the only daughter to Hungarian Jewish Immigrants, Multi-Award Winning Photographer Elizabeth E. George has called Tallahassee her home since 1980. At the age of nine, she discovered her passion for photography and began formal training in high school (processing film in the dark room). Capturing images that offer candid glimpses into the essence of her subjects is what she revels in most. After earning a degree in education at Florida State University and then teaching for 28 years, Elizabeth returned to her first passion, photography. Her greatest love is spending time with her family, friends, and golden lab (not necessarily in that order, nor all together).

Her specialties include nature, landscape, concert and event photography and her work has appeared in numerous local and national publications and exhibits.
